Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC is proud to have a women's team (since 2017) in close partnership with Dutch Premier League Club ADO Den Haag Women. The team competes in the WPSL, currently the second highest level of Women's soccer in the USA. In 2018, the team won the WPSL Sunshine Conference Championship, also qualifying for the WPSL national play-offs.
The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC women's team consists of some of the best local talents (both club, high school and college) combined with several players from Europe and college players from the US. The team usually consists of approximately 24 players with the season running from the 2nd or 3rd week of May until the first week of July, depending on play-offs.
There is a player fee associated for joining the team. This will cover all training session (3 to 4 times a week), 8-10 games and FGCDL FC gear for the season. In case you need housing there will be an additional fee. The fee structure for the 2024 will be communicated separately.
