The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC has an immediate opening for intern positions. Ideal candidates should have a demonstrated interest in sports business and marketing, a team-oriented attitude, and a proactive approach towards growing their careers. All candidates should have excellent communication and analytical skills, and a familiarity with the sport of soccer is always a plus.
Sales/Marketing Intern
- Qualifications
- Familiar with sales and marketing concepts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strategic thinker that takes a creative and analytical approach to his/her work
- Background in sports and media is a plus but not mandatory
- Duties
- Assist with day-to-day sales needs
- Help put together sales and marketing materials
- Brainstorm and assist various fundraising activities
- Lead various key research initiatives
- Assist with minor office operations
Public Relations/Communications Intern
- Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Willingness to work nights and weekends (if called upon)
- Background in sports media is a plus
- Duties
- Compile match statistics and reports
- Help put together weekly sports information materials
- Assist with web content, social media platforms & various writing/blogging duties
- Lead key research initiatives
- Assist in graphic design (using Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design) and video editing
