I am Chris Vianest and live with my wife and two kids in Cape Coral. I am 41 years old, and I have 7 years soccer experience. My first coach job was in 2010 till 2012. I was the head coach of the North Ft. Myers Boys. In 2011 till 2015 I was CCSA coach. Currently, I am the head coach of the Ida S. Baker Girls, and I am also since the beginning of the year coach of FGCDL FC Youth Academy.
What is going to be your role as the assistant this season?
My job is to help Coach Vincent de Weger get the most out of all of our Women’s Team players. Motivate, train, and teach the Dutch Lion style of soccer.
What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
I expect to advance to the Regional Tournament. All of the players are talented, but our girls will need a high level of intensity and a strong mental focus to be successful this season.
Why do you want to be part of the staff of the FGCDL Women’s Team?
For us, this is an excellent opportunity to bring a higher level of Women’s Soccer to Southwest Florida. We have some of the best talents in the country, and I am very happy to be part of the club that can showcase these players and help them progress to the next level.
