FGCDL FC: Who are you, where are you from and how old are you?

India: I'm India Fortner, I'm 16 years old and I'm from Florida.

Kelsey: My names Kelsey Samaroo, I’m originally from Kansas City, Missouri and I am 20 years.

FGCDL FC: What is your college?

India: I attend school at Estero High School in Estero, Fl.

Kelsey: I attend Florida Southwestern State College.

FGCDL FC: What kind of honors did you receive in your player career?

India: Since playing soccer I've been player of the game, and I've also received my Varsity Letter and been captain of many of the teams I've been on.

Kelsey: I have received offensive MVP on the Riverdale High school varsity soccer team.

FGCDL FC: What makes the FGCDL FC so different compare to other clubs?

India: FGCDL FC is different than other clubs because it's during the summer and I am receiving the opportunity to play with girls who have played at the college level and are currently playing college soccer now. It's an amazing opportunity to be able to play with girls much older than me and girls that are also very talented.

Kelsey: I think this club is better than other clubs because it’s a mixture of local players and players from outside of the country. I think everyone on the team has unique playing skills and can learn from each other.

FGCDL FC: What are your expectations for coming season?

India: My expectations for this season are to grow as a player and also to learn as much as possible about the game. I'm very excited for the upcoming season and I can't wait to be surrounded by a new coaching style, which will help me to play well and learn new things about the game.

Kelsey: From this team I expect to learn and improve much more on my skills and gain more experience playing with a great team and a great group of girls.

Head Coach Vincent de Weger is happy to have Kelsey and India in his team: " Both girls are dedicated to help this team forward. India her defensive skills and Kelsey her attacking skills will push our team during practices games and I look forward to see how they develop this season."

Kelsey and India play there first game on June 2nd at North Fort Myers Community Park at 4 pm.
