Lorena: After the end of last season coach Vincent invited me to come back this year to be part of this venture again.  I am so excited and committed to put out my best effort to make this participation a success. Being the youngest in the team for the second year in row is a privilege for me. I get to learn from more experienced players as well as the superb coaching from Coach Vincent and Davy. Although the stats weren’t in our favor last season, I learned a lot to better myself as a player. This year I am back for a second season, hungry to go far in the tournament, and learn a lot more.

Karleigh: I returned for my second FGCDL FC season to help prepare me for college soccer.

FGCDL FC: What makes the FGCDL FC so different compare to other clubs?

Lorena: FGCDL FC is very different from other clubs in the area. They train using a different style of play that is used in Europe. They are also very family friendly. Whenever you see the club together, you think of a family.

Karleigh: The playing style is different from other teams that we play against. Also, the coaches care about where you feel most comfortable playing and also teach how to play other positions.

Lorena: My expectation for the team this season is for us to work hard and to get far in the league. My expectations for myself is to come out this season having improved abundantly in all areas of my soccer knowledge and performance.
