FGCDL FC: Who is Sarah Feakins?

My name is Sarah Feakins, I am 21 years old from Kent, England.

FGCDL FC: How did you get to know our club and what did you saw?

I watched many FGCDL teams last season at several different tournaments and got to know some of the coaches and thought the club was very well run and everyone seemed to be having fun. After playing for the FGCDL FC Women's team this past summer I am excited for the opportunity to now coach with the club.

FGCDL FC: What is the experience that you bring to our coaching staff?

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old, Starting in England where I grew up. We moved to Cape Coral in 2007 where I started playing for Cape Coral cyclones where I continued to play until I graduated high school. I played varsity soccer for 4 years at Cape Coral High and a captain for two years. After graduating high school I gained a soccer scholarship in Kansas where I played for two years.
Last year I was an assistant coach for the Cyclones u15 boys. I have coached at many kids summer soccer camps. This year I played on the FGCDL Women's team.

FGCDL FC: What are your expectations for the coming season?

My expectations for this season is to learn a lot from all the well-experienced coaches already at the Dutch lions and to help the players improve from the beginning to the end of the season and get the results we want.

FGCDL FC: When do we see you for the first time on the fields?

My first day coaching for the FGCDL will be Monday 14th August.

We, FGCDL FC, wishes Sarah good luck this season and we look forward to seeing her on the fields.
