FGCDL FC U11B - win all their games through the final
Our U11B played a great tournament. They won their first 2 games with 3-1 and made some great goals due combine. Because of the excellent performance of the first day, they made it to the semi-final. That match was a tough one but with great possessioning and hard work they won this game with 4-2. Unfortunately, we lost the final, where we have to give our opponent credits for the way they played. We take this experience with us, so we come back even stronger.
FGCDL FC U13G - Great performance last two games
Our U13G lost their first game against a strong team. The final score of the second game was 3-3. All the parents saw an amazing performance of our girls because they came back from a 3-0 behind. On Sunday our girls know what to do. With fantastic teamwork and a lot of changes, the girls won their game with 2-1. Unfortunately, that was not enough to reach the finals. Parents and coaches were really proud of the performance of our U13G this tournament.
FGCDL FC U13B - High-level opponents for our U13B
Our U13B faced some quality competition this weekend in Winterhaven. Two impressive goals were scored from set pieces, and their fitness level was high. Thursday's with Coach Tina is working. While we did not get the results that we had hoped for, the boys played hard and learned some valuable lessons that we can use in our training in the coming weeks. Coaches are looking forward to working with the players and perform at their next tournament.
We would like to thank all the parents for supporting the kids during the games.
