Cape Coral, February 23 2017- The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC is happy to announce that Vincent de Weger renewed his contract for an unlimited time.
Vincent de Weger started in July 2016 as Marketing Manager and is now Director of Soccer Operations of Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy. Besides that, he is the coach of our U8E and our U16G.
Jouko Gorissen, General Manager, is pleased with the renewal of the contract: “Vincent showed from the beginning that he is a real asset to our club. He started at the marketing side and implemented new ideas to the club. During these months he showed his organisational talents and leadership."
"Vincent will also be part of the management team of the club. With his experience in Houston and for Ajax Amsterdam he adds something extra to the management team what we missed. As a club, we can't be happier to keep Vincent longer with the club." ''
Vincent is happy with his new contract. “ I am delighted that I renewed my contract. The club gave me the opportunity to lead the company together with Jouko Gorissen, and I am satisfied with the improvements we made. Our collaboration with Allied Therapy and Fit+Fun (Fitness coach Tina Kaiser) are examples of the growth that we make in our club. I hope that we continue our development in the Youth Academy and that the Women's team will be a big success. I hope to see you all the coming weeks at the fields to keep improving your children.”
