Cape Coral, Florida, February 13th, 2017 - Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC is pleased to announce 3 try-out dates for the USL Super Y League that runs from May to mid-August and finals in December 2017. Sign up right now.
The try-outs will hold February 22th, March 8th and April 12th, 2017 from 5:45 pm - 7 pm at Jim Jeffers Park. FGCDL FC will have a U10B in the Super Y League this summer.
The USL Super Y League is one of the top youth soccer leagues in the USA. The USL Super Y League has the objective to provide young talented players an experience that is unparalleled in youth soccer. The USL Super Y League shares the same passion for player development as the Dutch Lions FC clubs and realizes that to be an elite club, you must play in an elite league.
Director of Soccer Operations, Vincent de Weger is very pleased with the USL Super Y League: “Playing in the USL Super Y League is the next step on our way to becoming the best club in the area. Competing with our teams in this league will help the development of all the players. We will have players from our club, but also players from the area”.
All FGCDL teams will train 3 to 4 times a week and will be coaches by a UEFA C or B licensed coach. The program will be very professionally, and commitment needs to be high to make the team.
The try-outs are open to everyone. There’s no fee to attend the try-out. If a player makes the team, he needs to be available for all practices, games, and tournaments.
