Cape Coral, February 9 2017- The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC is happy to announce that Davy Hendriks renewed his contract for an unlimited time.
Davy Hendriks started in September 2016 as program assistant and is now the Academy Director of Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy. Besides that, he is the coach of the U10B, U11B, and U13B.
Vincent de Weger, Director of Soccer Operations, is pleased with the renewal of the contract: “Davy is an asset to our club. Davy works hard, is an inspiration for the kids and on the office side, he is a prominent member. We hope that Davy keeps improving like he did the last months."
“With the renewing of the contract of Davy, we keep the consistency in our program. Davy started here in September, and since then he's a valued member of our club. We as a club look forward to work longer with Davy.” Added Jouko Gorissen, General Manager.
Davy is happy with his new contract. “First of all I'm very pleased that I got the opportunity to renew my contract. I see a lot of potential in our club and especially in our players. Every week I see players improving their skills and getting better and better, individual and as a team. With the Orange Family feeling and commitment we all have, we can grow as a club and next to that we have the opportunity to reach a high soccer level which is one of my aspirations. I'm looking forward to reach this level as soon as possible with all members of our club.”
