Cape Coral, Florida, December 6 2016- Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC is pleased to announce 3 try-out dates for the USL Super Y League that runs from May to mid-August and finals in December 2017.
The try-outs will be held January 27, February 24 and March 3 2017 from 6-9pm at North Fort Myers Community Park. FGCDL FC will field teams in the age groups U10B, U11B, U12B, U13B and U14B.
The USL Super Y League is one of the top youth soccer leagues in the USA. The USL Super Y league has the objective to provide young talented players an experience that is unparalleled in youth soccer. The USL Super Y league shares the same passion for player development as the Dutch Lions FC clubs and realizes that, to be an elite club, you must play in an elite league.
Vincent de Weger is very pleased with the Super Y League: “Playing in the Super Y League is the next step in our way to become the best club in the area. Competing with our teams in this league will help the development of all the players. We will have players from our club, but also players from the area”.
All FGCDL teams will train 3 to 4 times a week and will be coaches by a UEFA C or B licensed coach. The program will be very professionally and commitment needs to be high to make the team.
The try-outs are open for everyone. There’s no fee to attend the try-out. If a player makes the team he needs to be available for all practices, games and tournaments.
