Cape Coral, October 20 2016 – The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC will organize 3 Family events the next two weekends.
Saturday October 22nd we will visit our partner Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium . We will be there with our U8-U9-U11G-U13G and U13B teams at 9.45pm. If the children wear their game or practice jersey they can go in for free. We will see 2 animal presentations and 2 planetarium shows.
There will be a variety of activities and craft to enjoy, as well as guided trail wlaks. Important is that everybody bring closed shoes and their own lunch.
Our Orange Family Openingsday Event will start Sunday October 23rd at 4pm. The next 4 hours we have kids vs parents games, a grill out and several other games for our kids and parents. FGCDL FC will organize Openingsday at Jim Jeffers Park. Our U8 till U12 play a scrimmage on a half field. Our U13 till U17 teams play their scrimmage on a full field.
Halloween is in less then 2 weeks and we're excited about our next event at Mike Greenwell's Fun park in Cape Coral. They organizes a trick and treat event on October 30th. We go with the U8-U9-U10-U11 together to do their walk. We will meet at 5pm at the entrance to go in as a group. All kids under 12 get in for free, but parents are more than welcome to join. Wear your Dutch Lions Game Jersey and bring a big goodie bag to collect as much candy as possible!
Later that night, we will go with our U13-U17 teams to the Mike Greenwell's Haunted Hike. It starts at 8pm and each person must pay $13 to get in. We will make groups with coaches. Wear your Dutch Lions Game Jersey!
