Cape Coral, September 8, 2016 - The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC is very pleased to announce that Jeremy Sheppard has joined the FGCDL FC Youth Academy staff. FGCDL FC spoke with Jeremy about joining the club.
FGCDL FC: Who are you, where are you from and what is your soccer background?
Jeremy: I am Jeremy Sheppard and I am from Livonia in Michigan. I have been playing soccer since I was eight years old and am still on the road of pursuing it. I have been coaching for two years and also played club.
FGCDL FC: How did you join the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC?
Jeremy: I got here a few months ago and heared about the FGCDL FC. I decided to introduce myself during one of the practices of the Dutch Lions FC teams to Daan Uithof and talk with him about the possibilities of joining.
FGCDL FC: What is your role in the Youth Academy this season and what are your ambitions?
Jeremy: My role in the Youth Academy is be an Assistant Coach, but also work on the marketing side of the club since I am a professional photographer as well. My ambitions are to help spread my love for the game and talent to the young ones so they progress as players and also as individuals.
FGCDL FC: What are your expectations for the season?
Jeremy: My expectations are to become more well known to the players and parents and to keep everyone growing to make FGCDL FC a bigger and stronger club.
Daan Uithof is very pleased with Jeremy: Jeremy is a young man with a lot of potential. He is also very eager to learn which is key. Adding Jeremy to our staff gives us extra opportunities in our Youth Academy. FGCDL FC welcomes Jeremy to the club.
