FGCDL FC WIN THIRD GAME IN A ROW (2-0)

Cape Coral Florida, June 5 2016 - The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC Men's team won their third game in a row after a 2-0 win Saturday night vs South West Florida United.

The FGCDL FC Men's team played their 7th game of the season and first game of the month June against South West Florida United from Lehigh Acres.  After 5 minutes the Lions already took the lead. Dutchman Roy Kemna got the ball on the left side, instead of going to the outside to cross the ball he cut to the inside and took a shot that went in the left corner giving the Lions a 1-0 lead. In the remaining part of the first half the Lions had the game under control but couldn’t create any big chances.

In the second half it was the same game as the first half. The Lions were leading 2-0. The Lions' defense was very organized and kept another clean sheet for the third game on a row.

Next week (June 13) the Lions play away in Boca Raton vs Boca Raton FC of the APSL.
