Cape Coral, May 6 2016 - The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC Men's team is playing their third game of the season today facing Chivas Florida Futbol Academy at 6.30pm in Sarasota.
After the first two games against Miami United (2-1 loss) and Tampa Bay Rowdies II (4-1 loss), the Lions will face another strong opponent playing Chivas Florida Futbol Academy. Chivas Florida is part of the Chivas Guadalajara club in Mexico and has an Academy in both Florida as well as in England. Chivas Florida is currently ranked 12th in the nation.
Coach Ronald de Boer is positive about the game: “It will be a difficult game against a good team but I've seen good progress since our start only two weeks ago. And we also scored in every game until now. We just have to make sure we don't concede goals too easily and most of all we have to play our own game.”
