FGCDL FC conducts first series of player-parent-coach meetings

Cape Coral, November 2 2015 - The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC coaching staff finished the first series of player-parent-coach meetings today. The meetings are part of the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC's strategy to have an open line of communication on the development of the player as well as the club in general.

Academy Manager Klaas Boersma commented on the first round of evaluations: "Besides two general parent meetings we also have two parent-coach meetings and four player-coach meetings per year to make sure that both the players and parents get feedback from the coaches on how the player is developing. Besides that they also get to ask questions and/or give feedback on their son or daughter, team and club in general. The meetings also in line with our five corporate values: strive to improve, customer focus, communicate with impact, integrity and respect. We got great feedback of the parents on how they think the coaches and we as a club are doing after the first few months. The one comment we constantly got is the improvement they have seen in the player(s) sofar. We are definitely going in the right direction and it is inspiring to hear that back from the players and parents."

The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy currently has eight teams between the ages U6-U15. They play their league games in US Club Soccer. Players can sign up all year round. In case you want to know more about the program please contact Klaas Boersma at k.boersma@fgcdlfc.com.
