This week the academy teams of the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions started training for the 2015 Fall Season. A total of 8 different age groupss started in their new white gear including numbers for their first training. At 6pm the first U6, U8(2 teams) and U9B started with their first practice. At 7.15pm the other teams U11G, U12B, U15B and U15G started with their new teams.
All the coaches were satisfied to see 70 kids being out on the field trying to get more familair with the Dutch way of soccer. Now a new challenge awaits for players to get fit and ready for the upcoming fall season in the US Club Soccer league.
If you are interested in joining our academy, please know we still have some spots free and the US Club Soccer system gives us the freedom to sign up players the whole season.
