June 25, Cape Coral, Florida - The FGCDL FC Youth Academy held their first team meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday evening at their office. The FGCDL FC Premier Academy is looking to have 7 teams starting in August 2015. A few spots are still open in the age groups U6-U15. The FGCDL FC has several more try-out dates scheduled the coming weeks in case players are still interested in joining.
During the team meetings the players were introduced as well as the coaching staff (with 4 full-time coaches with a UEFA B license). Furthermore the parents and players got s presentation on the club's philosophy, development phases, playing style, annual activities (from 4 player-coach meetings to 2 parent-coach meetings, 2-3 general parent meetings as well as video analysis sessions but also club activities such as the Academy Season Opening Event), annual fees, the Parent Council Group (representing the "voice" of the academy), Customer Satisfaction Survey (evaluation of the coaches and club on 18 different criteria) and the groups discussed the training evenings and times as well as the gear options.
A lot of positive feedback was received after all the team meetings.
