The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC (FGCDL) did everything they could to keep the game close on Wednesday afternoon at Jim Jeffers Park as Miramar visited for the second game of the season. Miramar had well of the majority of possession and created several good chances but Dutch Lions FC goalkeeper Juan Carlos Munoz Venegas came up big with several amazing saves.
The Dutch Lions FC were fighting off injuries with 4 starters having to leave the field. The game ended in a 2-0 win for Miramar United, their first of the young season. The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC's next game is Saturday, June 13th at 3 p.m. away at Miramar United. Their next home game isn’t until the following Saturday, June 20th as they host IMG Bradenton at 7 p.m.
