On Saturday May 16, 2015 the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC held their first successful free clinic for all local soccer talent.
With over 40 kids attending, the 5 professional FGCDLFC coaches dealt with some great talent but more important; a lot of smiles on the kids faces! After an introduction about the organization by director of business Jaap Elekan, the future soccer stars went onto the beautiful sunny pitch at Jim Jeffers Park. A good warming up was the start of the afternoon, followed by several drills in which the fundamentals of the game of soccer were touched on. Due to inclement weather moving into the area, the clinic had to be stopped a little bit early. All childeren received a cool, orange FGCDLFC lanyard as reminder of this great afternoon!
