Cape Coral, May 29 - The first day of try-outs for the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC was very well received by both the players and parents that attended Wednesday evening.
While the new USL Super 20 team was practicing at the same location, the players were evaluated on several aspects of the game. The field was divided in several "stations". Every station had it's own topic such as speed, dribbling, passing, games etc. While the coaches were working the players the parents got a presentation about the club in general and the development philosophy.
After the try-out several players already committed to come and play in the academy for the 2015-2016 season that starts in August. In case you are also interested in joining please register for the remaining try-out days (Saturday 10-11.30am and Monday 6-7.30pm) here.
