The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC are proud to announce a brand new affiliation with US Club Soccer. This affiliation permits the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC's youth teams to participate in local US Club Soccer leagues, starting in the Fall of 2015.
"We are very happy with this affiliation", Sporting Director Sid van Druenen said, "It permits us to start our youth programs this fall season already. We will be hosting our try outs after memorial day weekend and I hope to see a lot of local soccer talent out on the fields with us."

For the younger ages (U8 to U12) US Club soccer offers leagues in the Fort Myers/Naples area while the older ages (U13 and up) will play in leagues that extend through out Florida.
According to van Druenen, "This setup makes sense to us. Younger teams will play more locally not forcing families to make a 60 minute drive to play a 50 minute game. Although games are fun and part of every players development its at training that these ages learn and grow the most. For the older ages competitive games become more important so it becomes worth while to make the drive for games."
