The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC soccer program will be run by Sid van Druenen. Sid holds the prestigious UEFA B-License from the FPF in Portugal and has worked for the Dayton Dutch Lions FC organization for the past 4 years.
Van Druenen, who holds a degree in sports sciences, is an UEFA B licensed professional coach. After building a successful career as youth coach in Portugal, he moved to the Unites States in 2011. Van Druenen has been with the Dutch Lions FC in several positions including: Head coach women’s team (Won the Division championship and organization of the year for USL W-League), Head coach men’s USL PRO. Besides coaching the adult teams, Sid was also in charge of the development of young soccer talents at the Dayton Dutch Lions FC as Technical Director for the club. At the Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions, van Druenen will be in charge of all soccer operations.
