Cape Coral, May 4th- Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions, announces Fall Season try-out dates on May 13th, 15th, and 22nd at Jim Jeffers Park.
Our FGCDL FC Youth Academy had a very successful Spring Season with a lot of finals in high-level tournaments. The Academy grew to more than 140 kids with a staff of more than 10 coaches. Our U8 grew from 20 players to a total of 38 players. Your child will have a lot of ball touches during our practices. We will set up several stations like dribbling, passing, shooting and 1v1 games. At the end of practice, we finish with a scrimmage.
FGCDL FC organizes their Fall Season Youth Academy at the following dates:
- Saturday, May 13th - 9.00 am till 11.30 am at Jim Jeffers Park
- Monday, May 15th - 6.00 pm till 9.00 pm at Jim Jeffers Park
- Monday, May 22nd 6.00 pm till 9.00 pm at Jim Jeffers Park
During try-out players can expect to be evaluated mainly on their technical skills. Several stations will be set up for dribbling, passing, and small sided games. Parents can expect to receive more information about the club and it’s philosophy. We will also provide the 2017-2018 FGCDL FC Academy Handbook.
