Recap FGCDL FC Weekend Camp

Cape Coral, March 27, 2017 - Last weekend we had our first FGCDL FC Weekend Camp at Jim Jeffers Park. All the kids performed excellent and at the end, all participants were awarded their official FGCDL FC Weekend Camp Certificate.

On Saturday the Camp started at 9am with dribbling, coordination, passing and shooting drills. All essential elements to develop soccer skills with a focus to get as many ball touches as possible. That's why all exercises are performed with the ball during every drill. During every FGCDL FC Weekend Camp, there is also room for some fun games! Every camp day ended with a scrimmage. During the scrimmages, there were a lot of goals, and the kids certainly showed that they learned a lot.

On Sunday the kids were doing a lot of different 1v1 drills. They learned how to use their technique during a 1v1 situation,  doing scissors, Ronaldo's and Maradonna's. At the end, every child was awarded an official FGCDL FC Weekend Camp Certificate from Director of Soccer Operations Vincent de Weger and Academy Director Davy Hendriks.
